Tutoring

Mandeville High School offers free peer-tutoring afterschool on Mondays and Wednesdays until 3:30 pm.

If your child is interested in signing up for peer-tutoring, he/she must contact Mr. Hotard (daniel.hotard@stpsb.org) by visiting with him on campus or sending him an email (preferred option) to sign up. 

Work Permits

Obtaining a work permit:

Every student under 18 years old must obtain a work permit before starting a new job. However, the work permit cannot be obtained until the student actually gets a job.

To apply for a student work permit:

1. Please have the potential employer fill out the form at Louisiana Workforce Commission - Employment for Minors.

2. Bring the completed form in person with the student along with the student's birth certificate or state issued ID to the Harrison Curriculum Center. Do NOT bring the form to your school.
